Monkey wrench … Sun told how Justin Bieber’s pet Mally was taken
Peter Mensch’s warning to pop star
POP plank Justin Bieber needs a good slapping over his brattish behaviour, a top music boss said last night.
Peter Mensch, hubby of Sun columnist and ex-Tory MP Louise Mensch, said: “I’d take Bieber to the woodshed and spank him.”
And Peter, 60, who manages stadium bands Metallica and Red Hot Chili Peppers, warned the 19-year-old singer will soon be on the scrapheap unless he shows his fans and management more respect.
He said: “His manager Scooter Braun is scared s***less. I don’t know what Bieber’s problem is. His career is over in three years anyway.”
Bieber was last night facing charges for allegedly spitting on a neighbour.
LA prosecutors want to hit the star with an assault rap after a row over noise last week. Bieber could also be stung with a £10,000 fine for smuggling his monkey Mally into Munich in his private jet on Thursday, as The Sun revealed yesterday. Mally was deemed a health risk and quarantined.
Earlier this month Bieber kept fans waiting at London’s O2 Arena for two hours. He then clashed with a photographer before leaving the UK.
